Artists from all four corners gathered at the Windsor station for the Montreal Art Tattoo Convention this past weekend. The hall buzzed with tattoo machines as hundreds of Montrealers were getting inked.
The convention is a wonderful place to get acquainted to all types of artists. From the famous Mark Rubendall from King’s Ave (NYC) and TinTin from Tin-Tin Tatouage (Paris) to the local Montreal shops. It also opens your mind to all the different types of tattoos. There are those who are extremely-well versed in traditional sailor tattoos, those who have perfected intricate Japanese ink and technique and those starting a whole new breed of abstract tattoos.
There was an influx of incredibly interesting people there. Check out the photos below for a small glimpse of what we saw at the Montreal Art Tattoo Convention.
