1. The 2015 Montreal Saint Patrick’s Day Parade

This year’s edition of the parade will take place on March 22nd and get started at noon. The parade will begin at the corner of Fort and Saint Catherine before finishing up at the corner of Phillip’s Square and Saint Catherine. The procession will feature 100 floats that will all be helmed by various prominent local figures and organizations including the United Irish Societies of Montreal, Montreal City Councillors, CBC, CHOM 97.7, Dawson College, The City of Westmount and the SPVM. While the parade is obviously the corner stone of Montreal’s Irish festivities, everybody know that Saint Patrick’s Day has as much to do with watching a parade as it does with spending unhealthy amounts of time in Irish-themed drinking establishments. Here’s what some of Montreal’s foremost Irish pubs have to offer when it comes to Saint Paddy’s day debauchery.
